2018 Color of the Year

I often get asked, “What are some things we are going to see a lot of this season?” I love sharing things that I geek out over {pretty much anything fashion related 😉 } so of course I feel like it’s a fun topic to address here. One of the things you’re going to see a ton of this year is the Pantone Color of the Year: Ultra Violet. I’m excited to see another year of pastels killin’ it across the board. And I love finding ways to wear pastels in any season.

I’ve put together this outfit to show you how to wear violet in winter and into spring. This particular sweater is so cozy and comfortable {and is currently on major sale!}. My all time favorite jean jacket makes layering easy. I’ve been living in these destroyed black skinny jeans but you could opt for a sleek black work pant to make it work for the office.

I wouldn’t recommend wearing slides in the snow {I literally scooped snow into them during this photo shoot 😉 } but I do absolutely love the mule slide trend and it’s not going anywhere any time soon.

I shared a second way to style this scarf in last week’s post and here’s a third way! I think I’ve convinced you by now that you need to purchase a bandana for all seasons.
