Apple of my Eyelet

You know those weeks that feel like they go on forever? I’m coming off one of those. I can’t even begin to tell you how excited I am that it’s Friday.

Summary: Max left to cover basketball on Saturday morning, Blakely spiked a fever and developed cold symptoms. By Tuesday, the fever was still lingering and I took her in to find out she had a double ear infection. Oh and she is also teething. The hubby finally got home early Wednesday morning and Miss B is finally on the upswing. But after a long week of solo parenting and working from home… this mama is ready for the weekend.

Even though I should have been going to bed at the same time as the kiddos (knowing full well I would be up every few hours with the sick one), I spent my evening relaxing and doing some online shopping. It helped me de-stress and in the process I found some awesome finds for my spring wardrobe!

There’s a trend I found consistently as retailers are rolling out their spring lines: eyelet detail. And I can’t get enough of it!

Eyelet lace is just so pretty. It also adds some dimension and texture to an outfit. This fabric is so dynamic and can be found implemented into dresses, tops, jackets, pants, shorts, skirts and even shoes!
