Baby Basics

We are officially less than a month away from baby girl’s big arrival! As much as I feel like I have been pregnant forever, I feel like we still have so much to do before she arrives.

I’m cherishing every moment with Carsten while he is still the ‘only child.’ I know once this little lady comes home with us, it will be hard to imagine what life was like without her. But for now, it feels strange to imagine what it will be like to love another little person as much as we love our sweet boy. We’re soaking up the silly time and C-man’s big personality while he is still our ‘main man,’ even though we know it will continue even after his sister comes into our family.

But when it comes to planning for our little girl, my main concern is making sure we are stocked up on those baby basics that we cannot live without. As I have mentioned in my Baby Girl Wish List post, we have fine-tuned what we really need with baby number two. As a second time mama, I have a number of favorites when it comes to the basic necessities for everyday.

If your babies have sensitive skin… you MUST give this a try! It’s my favorite and my own mama (who is in the medical field) swears by it!

I will be running around nesting my little heart out over the next 30 days and making sure I have all of these everyday products for our newest edition to our family.
