Do you have a piece in your closet that you canNOT stop wearing? It’s to the point where you’ve said, “Can I get away with wearing this again?” Well: meet mine. This dress is the best $35 I’ve spent in a while.
It doesn’t get better than this beauty. It combines so many of my true loves to create the absolutely perfect spring and summer closet staple: white, comfortable, bell sleeves, work/weekend appropriate and affordable. I mean…. come ON! I’m swooning.
You guys know I’ve been working to beef up my spring wardrobe and this purchase really rounds it out. The tapered waist gives this shirt dress some shape which I love because shirt dresses can often leave you looking boxy. There’s not a single body type out there that couldn’t pull this dress off.
These wedges are from last season (and I wore them to death!) but they’re revamped for this year and they’re just as good. You’d be hard pressed to find an outfit that these beauties wouldn’t work with. They’re comfortable and easy to walk in so what more could you ask for?!
I work hard to make sure that the looks I’m featuring on Midwest In Style are relatable and attainable for anyone… regardless of size or budget. This dress does it on all fronts and it’s one of my all-time favorite outfits I’ve shown since starting the blog over two years ago. This one’s a keeper.
To get you up to speed on my everyday life: we’re preparing to renovate our upstairs bathroom. I’m mentally preparing myself for the chaos. We have a second full bathroom in our basement so we will be fine but we will be without a bathtub (with an almost-one-year-old) for a while. Blakely and I are about to get real friendly with the kitchen sink. 😉
Any interest in seeing some home update posts in the near future?! Let me know what you think!
Happy Hump Day!
