Bold Statements

Lately, I’m all about pieces that complete an outfit all on their own. Statement necklaces are my favorite way to pull together an otherwise simple (borderline boring 😉 ) look.

In my current state (16 weeks preggers), I am all about comfort. I’m drawn toward simple fabrics/pieces that I know I can pair with just about anything. This burnt orange top is flowy and a perfect color for fall. But all on it’s own, it’s very plain. While it’s a unique tone and features the side slits, it needs a pop of something special.

Cue the statement necklace!

Jewel tones are really catching my eye this season. A great way to incorporate your favorite jewel tone is by purchasing bold pieces like the bib necklace I’m wearing (I apologize that this exact BaubleBar Phoenix Bib is no longer available but I linked some great alternatives and a perfect look-a-like in the ‘shop this look’ section above.)

There’s nothing wrong with keeping it basic when it comes to your outfit… but adding a bold statement with a bib/statement necklace can take that simple palette to another level.
