Under normal circumstances, I spend Sunday night outfit planning for the week ahead. I would love to tell you that I’ve stuck to that routine as I’ve moved into our new normal as I work from home but sadly, I have yet to really stick to it.
However, I’ve found that even this slight deviation from this typical routine has made my mornings more hectic and my mood is more sluggish. So I’m recommitting to outfit planning for both myself and the kids on Sunday nights so we keep this habit. It helps keep things feeling as ‘normal’ as possible and also challenges me to continue to ‘dress up’ for my day ahead. Even if the current version of ‘dressing up’ looks significantly different than it did a few weeks ago.
I hope you’ll join me in this Sunday night exercise because it can also help you look at things that you were used to dressing up with jeans and re-imagine them in a more casual way. One trend I’ve been loving {and buying a lot of lately} is the tie dye print. This trend alone can be one you’ll feel comfortable in as we keep things more cozy but also staying stylish along the way.
I’ve pulled together some of my favorite tie dye items for you to explore including this pink sweatshirt that I’ve paired with joggers, jeans, leggings and more! Stay positive, friends and add color as much as you can. Hugs from South Dakota.
