If you followed me around via Instagram last week, you know I was in Seattle for work. While 95 percent of my trip was spent doing marketing conference things, I was able to capitalize on the brief amount of down time I had to get familiar with the city!
This was my second time in Seattle but it was my first time exploring it on my own. I took advantage of the number of connections I’ve made via Instagram to find a local photographer. Not only did I make a new friend in Sarah of Sarah Wolfe Photography, but she was the perfect local lady to take me to some downtown Seattle gems.
But before I even left South Dakota to head out west, I was concerned about how much room I actually had in my suitcase to pack for both work and play. Luckily, I’m level expert when it comes to styling things multiple ways. 😉 Travel style is all about mixing and matching pieces you love.
Case and point: these pants I wore in this post over the summer. These bad boys are still available and now it’s time to show you how to wear them into fall!
A little more masculine loafer is my go-to shoe for cropped pants this time of year. This pair is under $30! They go with so much more than just your crops {in fact I wore them for my travel day with jeans!} and they’re a key part of my top four shoes for fall.
This sweater is the exact same one I styled in this post… just in a different color. And as if you need another reason to love this cozy beauty… it’s under $19! Buying it in a number of colors seems like an obvious choice. It’s not “off-the-shoulder” by design but the over-sized feel makes it easy to pull down over one shoulder. I like this way of styling it to give a little sexy/feminine vibe to balance out the masculine feel of the loafers.
This look is just asking to come along on your fall adventures and it will take you far.
