I’ve started sharing more of my Target finds in real time on the Midwest In Style Instagram Stories and you guys have loved it! It’s been a lot of fun to share things that I run across as I’m shopping and, honestly, I go to Target more often than I’d like to admit so it helps justify a few trips for me 😉
In a recent Target visit, I ran across these faux leather joggers and at $20 I couldn’t pass them by. Just last week I talked about my love for joggers this year and these babies are fancy enough to take you from work but can be dressed down enough to carry you into the weekend.
I was a little concerned that these joggers wouldn’t be comfortable due to the price point. Fortunately, I was wrong and the inside is nice and soft. I am in an XS for sizing reference.
It also goes to show you that if you pair a really affordable piece with thoughtful investment pieces, like a classic black bag, the whole look appears really high-end. My scarf is another incredibly affordable item at only $12. I love the rust color this season and the little pop of color goes a long way here.
My sweater is from last season but I’ve linked a number of similar options for you to consider at a variety of price points. I definitely encourage doing the “French front tuck” trick to style it a touch.
This outfit would be just as cute and appropriate for the office if you swapped out these P448 sneakers for a pair of black pumps. If you wanted to do a little print mixing I would suggest throwing on a pair of leopard print heels. So cute with so many styling possibilities.
Are you ready to start thinking about holiday shopping?! I’m starting the work on the small business gift guide and I’ll likely be getting that out sooner than later given shipping can take a bit longer when you’re shopping small. If you have a small business on Etsy or with an online presence that you think I should include, drop your suggestions below!
