Can you imagine a sporting event without music? Baseball has walk up songs for every player. Basketball, football, volleyball, etc. have thoughtful and blood pumping hype videos or playlists prior to the start of every game. It’s one of my favorite parts of live sports.
How does this apply to this blog post? Athletes do everything they can to go into a game as confident as possible. Whether it’s bumping a killer playlist before heading into a high-stakes situation or by wearing a showstopping outfit, the same concept can be applied to everyday life.
There are key things in my wardrobe that I use to boost my confidence as I head into a big meetings, presentations or events. This post is so I can share my secrets on how I utilize five closet staples to get me in the right mindset to kick a** 😉
I have a few additional tricks up my sleeve when it comes to hyping me up for whatever it might be. It’s all about getting yourself in the right mindset; the “I can do this” mode.
Girlfriend, it could be that you’ve got a big interview for your dream job or for an upcoming wedding you’re invited to where you know your ex will also be in attendance. Whatever it might be, I got you.
Before I share my top five confidence boosting closet staples, I have to spill one more secret. After I drop the kids off in the morning, I spend my commute jamming out. I put together a short playlist for you to follow suit… consider it your personal list of walk-up songs. 😉
But now let’s get to it: my top five closet staples to make rolling those shoulders back and holding your head high that much easier. Girl, you got this.
