I am a huge advocate for women supporting other women. Any time I see another lady being a ‘lady boss’… I’m likely to go out of my way to let them know they’re killin’ it and the world is better because of it. A gal I’ve been incredibly impressed with is Katie Iverson, owner of Glamour Defined. This girl has followed her fashion dreams and she’s serious about it. I love it. You go girl. Katie and the Glamour Defined team is gearing up to unveil their holiday line and all of you lovely Midwest In Style readers get the first look!
Let’s take a moment to appreciate this gorgeous mini dress by Glamour Defined! Nothing says holiday like some gold sparkle. I layered it with a basic white button-up and black tights to make it Midwest weather-friendly. My favorite black loafers keep it comfortable and a little casual which I love. But to take this look to a holiday party, it would be just as adorable paired with heeled black booties.
The Glamour Defined bib necklace is another piece that translates well to just about any look. I love it with this dress but it’s an accessory that I know I will be wearing in so many different ways in the upcoming season.
However, there’s so much more to see in this outstanding Glamour Defined holiday line! I can’t even begin to tell you about the colors, textures, styles… AH! I love that I’m able to share this little sneak peek of the new line with you, but I’ve seen it all… and it was so hard to choose just one look to highlight!
But… ATTENTION LOCAL LADIES! This is for you!: You will have a chance to see ALL of the Glamour Defined holiday line THIS SUNDAY!
Not only is Katie the driving force behind Glamour Defined, she’s also giving back to the Sioux Falls community by hosting the ‘Paint It Pink’ event this Sunday to benefit women battling cancer. This brunch and style show starts at 11 am on Sunday at the Downtown Hilton Garden Inn and will showcase looks like the one I’m wearing in this post along with the rest of the killer Glamour Defined holiday line. {More event details here & buy your tickets here!}
But most importantly, all proceeds from ticket sales, donations and Glamour Defined purchases will go to the Wig Program at Avera McKennan to help women who have lost their hair while seeking cancer treatment. Katie: thank you for your generosity and for creating an event where our community can rally around women who are fighting cancer.
I cannot WAIT to attend this event on Sunday and I hope to see you there!
