We’ve been in our new modern farmhouse for over a year and I’m finally getting around to sharing all of the bathroom details! We just wrapped up the basement project so basement bathroom details, i.e. Carsten’s bathroom, will be shared next. But for now we’re starting with the main level bathroom.
This full bathroom serves as both Blakely’s bathroom and the main level bath for guests. It sits in between Blakely’s room at the front of the house and the guest bedroom.
For continuity, we took the vinyl plank flooring that we have throughout the main level into this bathroom. It’s waterproof so it’s safe to have in a space. It’s been so durable and easy to clean.
Because this was the bathroom our guests will use the most, we wanted to keep the look classic and crisp. The white cabinet is timeless and you see the same handles from the kitchen carried into this space as well. We also kept the same quartz countertops from the kitchen and master bathroom for this vanity.
We put Kohler finishes throughout our entire home because of the reputation and styling. We’re still so glad we did this. From the sink to the faucets, to the tub and shower surround; it’s all Kohler and we have absolutely loved it. The shower surround comes in sheets and is called Choreograph shower wall kits. It was so easy for our builder to install, is gorgeous but the best part: it’s so easy to clean!
The tub is so deep. This was a must for the kids… as well as my at-home spa nights. 😉 I use it for soaking… often… and it’s glorious.

The wall color is the same as the rest of the main floor and has been one of the most asked about details of our house. It’s City Loft by Sherwin Williams and we’re still so glad we picked it.
Have lingering questions about this space or see something I missed? Drop a comment and I’ll happily address it!
