I try to implement color regardless of season but often it’s the fall and winter months that I find myself gravitating toward neutrals. I’m sure I’m not the only one. But I challenge all of us to up our neutral game with some texture.
I put together this monochrome outfit to show you exactly what I mean. Black on black is never going out of style but I wanted to make it a little more interesting.
As soon as I saw this sweater I knew I had to have it. I was a little hesitant that it would be uncomfortable but I was pleasantly surprised to find that the inside is incredibly soft. The coating detail to give it that leather look makes this piece so different from anything else in your closet making it refreshingly unique.
You could wear this sweater with a variety of things (I can imagine how pretty it would be with a skirt, in fact!) but I opted for a most casual pair of lightly distressed black jeans. And remember the days when we said no to black and brown?! I could not love these booties more.
I couldn’t help but add a small pop of color in my stackable bracelets that I continue to wear like crazy. They’re part of my women’s gift guide for a reason: every lady needs them.
How far are you into your holiday shopping?! You would think I would be close to done given how much shopping I had to do to put the gift guides together but I still have quite a bit left to accomplish so send me all of the energy and good vibes to wrap it up this weekend!
