I’m currently feeling like spring will never come but the fast-approaching Mother’s Day holiday signals the start of a new season in my brain so I’m welcoming the occasion. Despite the moms or mother figures in our lives being notoriously difficult to shop for I think I’ve found a number of Mother’s Day gift ideas to make this daunting task easier.
While many of us love making the mamas in our life feel extra special on this day, I also know Mother’s Day can bring about some challenging feelings. If you’re one of those individuals who has lost their mom or you’re a mother who has lost a child or if you’re still yearning to be a mom, I hope you’re able to surround yourself with people who bring you joy and calm your heart on Mother’s Day. These gifts ideas are for you too.
The pandemic definitely put a spotlight on areas of improvement for my life. It made me rethink and refocus my energy. One of my re-energized goals for my family is more time spent traveling together. We just returned from a week-long vacation to Florida with the kids and it was just what my heart, mind and soul needed. Watching my kids throughout the entire travel process was so much fun. The memories made over that week will be ones we all cherish forever.
While this list is made up of tangible gift ideas, memories will always outlast the value of things. Scheduling an afternoon at the spa or even just a lunch and coffee date with the mothers/mother figures in your life is still one of the best gifts you can give in my opinion.
