My Must-Have Shoes for Spring

I hate waiting for all of the snow and slush to melt because I hate waiting to wear my spring shoes! As I am dreaming of warmer weather, I have been shopping around and have already made some shoe purchases.

Here are my five spring shoe necessities (underlined words are linked to each item for your shopping convenience!):

Jessica Simpson pumps

I love this blue color! Add these beauties to boyfriend jeans or dress them up for work: they can turn an otherwise ‘plane-Jane’ outfit into a fun and gorgeous springy look.

Hunter ‘Tour’ Rain Boots

I have yet to buy my own pair of these bad boys but I tell ya what, I need them. It’s not a matter of want. I need them. Spring in the Midwest is an awkward time. Snow/slush is melting or it’s consistently raining/sleeting so I feel like everything is always wet. It’s important to have a go-to option for dry feet. These are it. I need them.

LC Lauren Conrad cut-out pumps

Just bought these and I’m so in love. Perfect with some crops for work or to pair with a spring dress. I will have these on repeat.

New Balance for J.Crew sneakers

I cannot wait to wear these! I stumbled upon these kicks in the J.Crew spring catalog and it was love at first sight. I refuse to get these dirty so I must wait for the constant damp-ness to pass. I don’t always buy new sneakers but when I do… they’re neon… and they’re amazing. Jump on this bandwagon.

J.Crew Factory Emery bow flats

Another perfect ‘throw on and go’ shoe for work or play. I have one other pair of emery bow flats from J.Crew and I wear them all of the time so when I wore out my last pair of black flats these were an obvious choice. Bonus: these are on clearance so move quickly!

It’s that time of year when I want to take down all of my winter decor and put away my sweaters. I am so impatient for spring weather! And now that my shoe line-up is almost set for spring (I’m saving some room for those Hunters), I’m that much more ready to welcome higher temps… and higher heels 😉
