Our family is craving more time at home… specifically outside. We currently spend plenty of time outside while the kids are at soccer and baseball/softball but outdoor living in the comfort of your own home is truly unmatched.

A huge selling point of this new home was the yard and outdoor living spaces. Our kids love being outside and we needed more room for them to enjoy being outdoors while still at home. We also love hosting year round so having a true outdoor living area set up to welcome guests has been such a great part of this house and the property it sits on.

We still have so many things that we want to do when it comes to landscaping and designated outdoor entertaining spaces but for now we’re enjoying the covered deck and front porch.

We’re all itching to get outside as the temperatures start to trend upwards so it’s the perfect time to evaluate how welcoming your outdoor area is for not only your guests but also just as a little getaway at home for your own family.
