Peplum hems are going to be everywhere this spring. They’re already everywhere!
This trend is so flattering on so many body types. Peplum tops are so perfect for dressing up or down. I paired this one (which is just $15!) with destroyed denim and these mule slides (which I am SO obsessed with… hurry up and melt snow!) My favorite leather jacket works great for layering the look and adding some edge to this girly top.
But if I were to wear this peplum hem to work, or any of the similar peplum tops I’ve linked below for that matter: slip on a pair of ankle dress pants (like these) with a pair of heels (like these) and you’re set.
Peplum tops are just one of the many trends I’m seeing consistently out there in preparation for spring. I’ve recently made some more purchases to build out my transitional wardrobe from winter to spring and I can’t wait to share those with you soon!

did you notice that the top that you’re wearing has both horizontal and vertical stripes and on the Old Navy site they are all horizontal? the different stripes are what I love about your peplum but I am so confused why they are different!
