Plaid Work Pants

Since my Seattle trip was very work focused, I ensured that the time I spent in meetings was stylish. 😉

I’ve had so many requests from all of you for more office outfit inspiration. I’m taking the opportunity to show off how to style my favorite print for the office. There’s never a bad time to put plaid to work.

A plaid pant might seem a little out of the ordinary which is why I took on the challenge of styling them to show you just how achievable an outfit is after you’ve purchased the perfect pair.

Any outfit should have a showstopper. But too many stars of the show can be overwhelming so pairing a showstopping piece with a classic piece in your closet will maintain the balance.

That’s why I chose this basic crew neck sweater to go along with these head-turning pants {mine are sold out but a number of similar versions are linked below}. The color works perfectly but this sweater remains in the supporting role while the pant is center stage.

My favorite boots seem to go with absolutely everything and I paired them with so much more than just this outfit for my work trip style.

The real key here is really just to add a printed pant to your office wardrobe. This season we will see the plaid trend remain prominent and now is the time to add it to your lower half. 😉
