Print mixing is one of my favorite things to experiment with when it comes to styling. Stripes and bold prints (like floral or animal prints) is my top combination.
Mixing prints is such an easy way to bring new life into your closet. Curb your wardrobe boredom by looking for unique/new ways to pair old ‘stand-bys’ in your closet. For me, it makes my selection feel bigger than it is. I rarely wear the same outfits; not because I have a huge closet (some might contest this), but because I mix it up. I change-up how I style things and put things together which keeps me feeling like I have new clothes all of the time!
This month, I challenge each of you to try pairing some of your older favorites in a new way. Don’t be afraid to mix prints or mix fabrics; even trying it in a subtle way with accessories, like I did with this outfit, counts! Have fun with what you have without feeling like you need to go buy something new! I’ll be challenging myself to do the same. 🙂
