This last weekend I spent a solid three hours changing my closet over to fall. I put away all of my warm weather things {with the exception of a few tanks and shorts because we know how crazy Midwestern autumns can be} and brought out all of the knits, sweaters and the like.
I’ve been shopping for fall since about the beginning of August. There have been so many good finds that I felt it warranted a post about them. I also am using this post to launch a new series I’m starting here on Midwest In Style.
A couple of weeks ago I had to present to a group on something fashion related. I chose to present on how to create a fall wardrobe capsule. I had so much fun putting it together and it was so well received {my sister has even been bold enough to say that it’s been the most helpful thing I’ve ever done on the blog!} that I’m making it a seasonal thing!
The 2020 fall wardrobe capsule is live and each capsule will live under the ‘shop’ tab of the menu. I will plan to put one together for winter in late October given how early winter weather tends to show up in our neck of the woods. 😉
Below you’ll find the items I’ve purchased and loved lately! Some are for our home; others are for my closet. I’ve even included some things I’ve grabbed for the kids.
Are you ready to embrace the fall temperatures that we’re starting to see? I’ve missed my sweaters but I’m already counting down to summer 2021.
