I’m all about not over-complicating looks. Sometimes classic and simple are best. In fact, I would argue that often that’s the case.
There’s been a big debate as of late, mostly between Gen Z and Millennials, about jeans. The blog post with my opinion on this topic is coming soon but before I get into that I wanted to share a look that is so basic that there’s not a single body type that couldn’t take this outfit inspiration and make it their own. And guess what… it doesn’t involve a skinny jean. 😉
I’m very excited to be shedding the extra layer of heavy coats and trading it for spring sweaters that keep us warm enough through the chill but light enough that we can feel excited about the new season. I have bought this sweater three years in a row now, just in different colors, so that tells you just how much I love it. The price point is too good to be true.
The high-waisted, slightly cropped mom jean has been my most-worn denim style this year by far. That might be a dead giveaway on the angle of the upcoming blog post about jeans but you need to know how I’m feeling about this particular fit. I couldn’t love them more.
This post is for nothing more than to reiterate for everyone that you don’t have to overcomplicate an outfit to achieve a stylish look. Keep it simple, girlfriend.
