I’m already planning Miss Blakely’s first birthday party. That’s insane for two reasons:
1.) How is Blakely already almost one?!
2.) I’m already planning the party that’s over a month away.
So, of course, I had to purchase Blakely’s first birthday dress (which is absolutely adorable – sneak peek here) and I felt I also needed a spring dress for the occasion. As soon as I saw this dress, I knew it was the winner. I can wear this to work with wedges or pair it with flats for the weekend… and Miss B’s garden themed birthday party! (To be fair: Blake’s birthday is three days after mine so it’s also MY birthday dress 😉 )
Spring is my favorite time to wear dresses. By the end of winter I’m ready to quit with the pants. It’s also the best time for pastels and floral prints. But this ruffle trend, in particular, has me swooning. I’m seeing this trend implemented on tops, skirts, dresses… and I’m in love. It’s so cute, girly and comfortable!
I’ve shared this birthday look as well as all of the incredible spring dresses I’ve found for this season of renewal. The one I’m wearing above has sold out in a few sizes but I’ve linked an extremely similar version below.
I hope you’re all having an amazing week! Things are crazy in our world while my hubby is busy with basketball season (he works for a sports network) but the kids and I are getting so excited for some awesome weather this weekend! Happy March my loves!
