Full disclosure: I love stealing looks. Meaning: I have no shame in saying that I take outfit cues from… well… everywhere! I don’t always know exactly what pieces to put together so finding outfit inspiration is a life saver.

That’s exactly what I did with this look. I stole it right out of the J.Crew catalog. Correction: I revised a look right out of the J.Crew catalog with pieces I already had in my closet. And that’s outfit inspiration at it’s finest.

There’s no need to buy the exact outfit that you are using as inspiration for your own. It’s about getting ideas rather than buying an exact copy {this saves you so much $$!} My favorite part of searching through magazines, blogs, Pinterest, etc. is finding a way to recreate looks I love with items I already own.

So: no shame people! Take pride in finding outfit inspiration from others and making it your own.
