Striped Pants

As much as I love styling, I also can appreciate a good mindless outfit that you can throw on and run out the door in. You know… the ones you can wear to just about anything and know it’s going to serve you well? We all have them and they’re a necessity for life.

Well I have fallen in love with the pair of pants that will be my go-to for all easy outfits for the season. And man oh man do I love them. I have been finding every excuse in the book to wear these suckers and they’re as simple to wear as throwing on any solid colored tank or t-shirt, some sandals, a denim jacket and you’re ready.

I’ve publicly admitted that I have hit an all new level of obsession with blue and white striped anything but there was no talking me out of these pants. But I can hear some of you on the other side of this computer saying, ‘I can’t pull those off, Maren,’ and you just knock that off because yes you can!

The key to owning a trendier piece like these killer britches {yeah I just used the word ‘britches’…. you secretly love it ;)}, is to not overwhelm them with other trendy things. Just let them be THE thing. Keep the rest super simple and you’re golden. No need to overthink it. You can add your own twist to bag, jewelry, hat and/or other accessories.

But, as with all things blue and white striped, you need these too. So we can be twinsies. Let’s wear them to grad parties, work, drinks, date night… just really all of the occasions. I’m ok with all of us matching. See ya out there. 😉
