April showers bring May flowers… so make sure you have cute rain boots. 😉
Quick story about my love for rain boots: when I was still in broadcasting I had a pair of tall, floral rain boots that I wore during flood coverage. There was a ton of flooding one summer and I was basically remembered by emergency managers across the state for my floral print rain boots. They definitely stood out but I loved them!
I haven’t had a pair of rain boots since those bad boys… until now. Because I came to my senses! Rain boots are SO. PRACTICAL. for the Midwest. Even if it’s not raining, all of our snow can make everything so wet that it’s worth having some serious foot coverage that’s not going to be ruined by all of the moisture.
I found these affordable pink ones and fell in love. They’re so easy to pull on and off which makes them perfect for wearing to and from the office. I take them off and put on my work appropriate shoes once I’m safely inside the building. It keeps my nice heels from getting ruined and these pink rain boots look too cute not to wear on a daily basis.
Even though they’re practical, rain boots can also be styled to be a key part of your spring outfits. This outfit I’ve pulled together for this post is basically what I’ve been wearing all of March and into April. #momuniform
If you’re in the market for a good rain boot for either casual outfits or strictly for practicality purposes, I highly recommend these and you can’t beat the price. There are three color options and, honestly, I’m not ruling out buying all of them. If you love something… buy it twice. 😉
