Styling T-Shirts for Work

My desire to be able to take anything in my closet and make it work for both weekend and office is stronger than my desire for iced coffee. Yeah… that’s pretty serious.

I figure if the reality is that I spend five out of the seven days at work, I better be able to justify most of my closet-related purchases for both functions.

I’m fortunate that I work in an environment where I can wear more casual pieces as long as my schedule allows for it. I’m able to really dress for my day which means I get to wear jeans to work roughly two to three days a week. That’s awesome and I definitely don’t take that for granted. But for those days that I need to be more business than business casual, I still want to feel comfortable in what I have on.

I don’t believe for a second that t-shirts are out of the question for the workplace. As long as you style them right.

Is there anything more comfortable than a t-shirt?! I would argue that it’s one of the most comfortable and versatile pieces you’re guaranteed to have in your closet right this second. It’s a matter of asking yourself, “Do I have what I need to make this work for work?”

I’m sharing a little style inspiration with you to get your mind thinking about how you too can take your favorite t-shirt to the office. I’m also sharing some pieces I recommend for your bottom half that will make styling a tee for work so much easier.
