Styling Levi’s 501 Skinny Jeans for Summer

I’ve taken it on as my own personal mission to get each and every one of you to at least try on a pair of Levi’s 501 skinny jeans. Because I’m obsessed with them and I’m betting you will be too. They’re so flattering, affordable {mine seen here are currently under $70!} and perfect for any time of year.

Styling these denim beauties for the fall transition is easy. The destroyed version of the 501’s are my personal favorite but there are so many wash options to choose from.

Pulling on these bad boys for the weekend is currently second nature for me. I love pairing them with my slides {only $20!} and a short sleeve button down shirt for errands, drinks with friends or a casual date night. This would be another great outfit for vacation.

I’m all sorts of in love with bandana scarves lately so if the weather isn’t too warm, I’m utilizing this adorable accessory as much as possible. The bandana trend is so affordable that it doesn’t make sense not to try it!

But speaking of the fall transition, the Levi 501 skinny jean is just begging to be paired with any and all sweaters. You can add the scarf to the sweater combo as well so it’s just a copy-paste to keep you cozy into cooler temps.

Sizing advice for the 501 skinny: order your normal jean size for a looser fit (what I’m pictured wearing in this post) and order one size smaller for a tight/skinny fit. I ordered the 28″ inseam for a shorter/above-the-ankle style. I’m 5’8″ for reference. My exact pair is linked here and in the ‘shop the look’ section below.

Back to the vacation comment for a moment: we’re headed to New York state for a few days to celebrate our five-year wedding anniversary and the nuptials of some friends! We’re so excited to enjoy this get-away right before the craziness of school begins again. Guess who packed her 501 skinny jeans… this girl! 😉
