I’ve been focusing on a lot of home design and decor inspiration content lately due to your curiosity about our new home. That’s also, in part, because I haven’t been able to see my sweet friend and photographer (or as I like to call her: fab-tog 😉 ), miss Maddie Peschong.
We were finally able to take an hour away from our kiddos to shoot some new outfit inspiration content for you all! It was so good to see her and, honestly, it feels great to have some new looks to share. I’ve missed styling and the warm weather we’ve been having makes it even more fun!
I typically love wearing bright and vibrant colors during warm weather. I showcased a number of my go-to shades for spring and summer in my last post but we’re shifting gears today. It’s all about leveraging the neutrals.
Not only do light colors keep you cool in the higher temps, they’re also fun to play with tone-on-tone outfits. The crochet trend, when done right, can also be a really fun way to add a beach feel to your everyday look. I’ve styled this tank in more ways than I can count; for the office, weekend, mom life and vacation. The one I’m wearing here is from several seasons ago but I’ve linked a number of similar options for you below.
The wide-leg crop is going to continue to be huge this season and into fall. If you have yet to try this style, I find the high-waisted versions are my favorite. I’ve been wearing belts a lot lately but I kept the neutral beige, brown and cream tone-on-tone vibe going here as well. This is the belt I’ve purchased in two different colors. The price point is great and the quality is outstanding.
If you’re just now catching how amazing these snakeskin heels are (they were originally featured in this post), they’ve been getting a lot of play in my closet lately. You can also grab them at 30% off with code MAREN30
Even though I embrace a completely neutral look, I crave a pop of color in my accessories. This particular bag is from a few years ago but I’ve added a few fun alternatives so you can achieve a similar look.
I look forward to sharing more about the house in the coming weeks (the master suite is coming next!) but I can’t tell you how much I love writing these style posts! What keeps you coming back for more?!
