The Emmy’s Gala | 2015

It’s not often that I get to really dress up. I’m talking formally dress up. Some people don’t care for it. I love it. I love having a reason to really do my makeup, hair, put on a gorgeous dress and glam up my jewelry. Fortunately for me ( 😉 ), my hubby was nominated for two more Emmy’s this year so I had an excuse to do just that!

I met my husband when I was a reporter and long story short: I married my photographer. 🙂 He is still the chief photographer at the station where we met and fell in love. He is so incredibly talented. It is so much fun for me to see him receive this kind of recognition for his hard work. It was just a bonus that I was able to attend the Upper Midwest Emmy Gala this last weekend as a result. 😉

I was so excited to be outfitted in Alexis Bittar (bangle) and Todd Reed (rings, necklace and studs) jewelry for the evening courtesy of Sticks and Steel. All of these pieces are so gorgeous! I received countless compliments on them. The best part about these pieces: they are so versatile. All of them can be dressed up or down for any occasion. These diamonds complimented my dress perfectly but I would absolutely wear this jewelry with any everyday outfit.
