Any outfit short-cuts I can take… I’m doin’ it. This scarf from ROME is two-sided perfection. It’s also another one of those pieces that I can grab to pair with any basic look to make it more interesting.

This double-sided beauty makes print mixing easy. It literally does it for you. The houndstooth and tartan plaid are a combo made in winter heaven. It’s yet another blanket scarf that makes me warmer by just lookin’ at it! {Speaking of… can you tell how freezing I was during this shoot?!}

Once I grabbed this scarf, this look put itself together. The black base was easy with my favorite leggings and cami. I knew I wanted to wear a jacket and this denim legend {I say this because I’ve literally had this jacket since high school} did the trick. I wanted to tie in the white from the scarf so I added a layer in between the black and denim with this cotton button up. These booties are my current go-to and happen to go perfectly with my new favorite cross-body bag.

Moral of this scarf story: double the print + double the fun.
