The general population has a love-hate relationship with Valentine’s Day. Understandable. But here’s my thing about Valentine’s Day: it gives me an excuse to A.) receive flowers (take notes hubs) and B.) buy cute paper products.
I have a serious love affair with paper which is pretty great since I use paper a LOT in my professional life. But this global day of love gives me a perfect reason (as if I need a reason!) to send some awesome snail mail. SNAIL MAIL IS NOT DEAD PEOPLE… GET ON THE BANDWAGON!
First of all: let’s take a moment to appreciate Engage Paperie in downtown Sioux Falls. It’s the cutest… not just for Valentine’s Day… but, seriously, ever time I walk in there. It’s my current favorite place to visit when I go downtown. These photos don’t do it justice so if you live in or around the Sioux Falls area it’s a must-stop-shop. Engage has so much to offer including some creative classes (see the last photo in this post for their business card/contact info)! I will be attending their paper art and creative envelope addressing classes so I promise to share details later.
Engage always has the cutest cards for absolutely any occasion. I try really hard not to be the “quick run to Walgreens on the way to an event” kind of card shopper so I stock up when I can. Self-proclaimed card hoarder right here. I knew before I even walked into Engage that I wanted the Valentine’s Day line from Rifle Paper Co. Engage always has a great selection of Rifle products. I love Rifle Paper Co. for their gorgeous designs that are very signature to their brand. As soon as I see their creations, whether it be a calendar or one of their greeting cards, I instantly know it’s a Rifle product. This year’s Valentine’s cards are so clever, unique and fun!
These are the cards I chose… Who wouldn’t want to open one of these gems?!
I hope each of you spend Valentine’s Day appreciating the special people in your life. Spread the love and send some snail mail 🙂 Happy Valentine’s Day!
