Weekend Wear with Glamour Defined

The Memorial Day weekend was full of fun and promise of sunnier summer days ahead. It was almost like a staycation which, to me, is just as relaxing as a get-away.

Our summer is already starting to fill up with family trips, outings and a multitude of random adventures. When it comes to my warm weather wardrobe, I rely heavily on my ‘weekend wear.’ As soon as I’m out of the office, whether it be for the evening or for a long weekend, I’m jumping into a casual and comfy look. I’ve teamed up with Glamour Defined to share the perfect layered look to swing into summer in style.

Is it just me or are the early days of summer starting off a little chilly?! By noon it has warmed up nicely but to start out you’re gonna need a little light-weight somethin’ to get ya through. I found that perfect somethin’ in this Glamour Defined duster. I’ve been styling it in so many different ways but this weekend look was just what I needed for our recent family trip to the zoo.

The icing on the cake for me with this outfit is the bag. I’ve never been a big backpack person but as soon as I saw this one, I knew I had to have it. Best part is that it doesn’t have to be a backpack. This beauty doubles as a crossbody bag as well. It also comfortably fit all of my “mommy necessities” like sunscreen, diapers, the works. #momwins

I should also note that it’s 100% vegan leather and PETA certified! So… yeah. It’s perfection. This baby also comes in a number of colors but I’m glad I went with this lilac version as it plays nicely with the blush watch as my minimal but impactful pops of color.

I’ll be reminiscing about our memorable Memorial Day weekend as I head up to Fargo, North Dakota for a work trip for a couple of days.
